Undoubtedly this year’s most banging underground-esque fest. It’s not Wireless but it’s not your local community park gig. It’s a mash up of soundclash-culture and rave-inspired dance music in hipster Haggerston (London) and a mixture of new and old: highlights like Wiley, So Solid Crew, Wookie and Crazy Cousins also make it a nostalgia trip not to be missed.

There’s nothing quite like a good old rock concert but when the legendary genre merges with heavy metal it’s a game changer. For three days you’re invited to head-bang to some of the genre’s iconic bands from the 70’s all the way to present day including stellar acts like Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.

It’s the more flamboyant of the lot, but don’t let the vintage craft markets and fairground rides fool you; the festival in Victoria Park (London) plays host to Snoop Dogg who has only recently been let back into the UK after being banned for four years. Naughty. Other highlights include Rudimental and Hot Chip.
