The world is your stage. Marketing doesn’t need to be computers and charts. Go out and get attention. Be bold!

  1. Stickers

It’s a cool, well-travelled way to market yourself without going down the traditional poster route. Ask your mate (nicely) to create you a snazzy logo (or even just a date of an album release) and get to sticking. Be careful though, some people consider this vandalism. Use your noggin, but think outside of the box.

  1. Pop-up gigs

Cake shop, train platform or even a Morleys chicken shop. People love to see stuff happening in places they’re not supposed to. Grab a press pack and get chatting to local businesses. They’ll love to have the extra footfall and you’ll reap the rewards from bewildered passers by scrambling to social media to post footage of you.

Google is a good place to start for local spots and businesses. It’s FREE.
